HYPO21 is made of Pure Hypochlorous (HOCl). Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is a naturally occurring molecule produced by white blood cells as part of the body’s innate immune response, where it plays a key role in regulating microbial balance and inflammatory signalling. Because HOCl is something the body already produces and recognises, it is inherently compatible with the skin. HYPO21 is a biomimetic formulation, meaning it is designed to mimic this natural biological process by delivering highly purified, stabilised HOCl in a skin-physiological form. Rather than introducing foreign or aggressive actives, HYPO21 works in harmony with the skin’s natural defence and repair mechanisms, supporting balance, tolerance, and barrier integrity.
